Booking and Appointment Information

Every artist has their own way of booking. Here, I will share my process and be as clear as possible for those of you interested in booking a tattoo appointment with me…

I have placed a link to my email on the ‘Booking’ page. Please read the instructions for what information to provide in your email. Be clear and concise in the description of your ideas.

When I respond to your email, the responses will sometimes be sent to people’s ‘spam’ or ‘junk’ folders. Please check those folders for my response if you haven’t heard back for more than a week.

I do not have an assistant. I book everything myself. That being said, it sometimes takes me a little while to get back to people. It may take me up to a week to respond to you. If you don’t hear back from me within a week, and don’t see a response in your ‘junk’ folder, please send a follow-up email.

Leading up to the appointment, unless a special circumstance permits, you will not have a chance to view the design before the day of your first appointment. This is for many reasons. Mainly, a large part of my process is done in person, drawing directly onto the body. This is not done for every appointment, however, it is done for the majority. This allows me to tailor the design for each individual according to their anatomy. However, this also means that there is no finished design beforehand. Other reasons include:

Keeping the design personal to you. So often, people are given unsolicited opinions from their friends/family/peers on what they think of your design. Exclusively seeing the design in person ensures that the opinions you give are your own.

Allowing for collaboration. Often, discussing ideas in person allows or the best communication. Emailing back and forth while trying to explain thoughts on the design is time consuming and inefficient.

All appointments require a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be honored in the case of a rescheduling, as long as 72 hours notice is given for said schedule change. If less than 72 hours notice is given, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will need to be placed.

The state of Washington requires that we charge sales tax. This is required of all services, including tattoo services. This percent amount will be included as additional amount at the end of the session.
